New study finds obesity makes Covid 19 worse by leading to blood clots.
We wanted to take this time to let our patients know that we are currently still open and treating our regular patients by appointment only. We ask that at this time only the patient come inside the clinic and if you've traveled to high risk areas or outside of the Texas Panhandle that you will inform us when you call to schedule. We are spacing out our patients and rotating rooms. However, if you are concerned and choose to stay at home, know that we are willing to mail supplements and vitamins. We also offer TeleMed appointments as well.
Again, we are encouraging all our patients to be taking a good multi vitamin, vitamin C, D, Melatonin, Selenium, and Zinc to ensure your body's immunity. We can mail these out as well if needed. We also have several IV (intravenous) vitamin treatments available if you feel you need a bit more. These treatments can get much higher doses into the system quicker without the GI side effects high dose oral vitamins can cause. As always, be smart and only get out if needed. Please continue to watch CDC guidelines with recommended hand washing, sanitizing gel, wiping down surfaces with antibacterial wipes, avoiding groups, wearing masks, etc. Best medicine for this virus is to prevent it all together. Get your rest, stay home, and stay healthy!
