Nobel Prize Winner's Answer to Cancer...Proposed Almost 50 Years Ago Is Finally Being Used

Cancer Cells Take Over

Nobel Prize winner Dr. Linus Pauling and colleague Dr. Ewan Cameron shared a research study proposing high dose intravenous Vitamin C can in fact be used in fighting cancer cells. Researchers tried to repeat these studies, but instead chose to use high dose ORAL Vitamin C, which of course did not get the same beneficial effects. The high doses needed cannot be absorbed by the gut through oral dosing without irritating the lining and causing loose stools. Many questioned the motive for using the oral form. Was it poor research? Did they not want to find a single inexpensive way to help treat cancer?

National Institute of Health researcher, Dr. Mark Levine, proved in the late 1990s that the higher dosages obtained by using the intravenous (IV) form of Vitamin C transforms it into a Pro-Oxidant. High doses of Vitamin C help release hydrogen peroxide, which kills off cancer cells. Normal cells have an enzyme called catalase that protects them from hydrogen peroxide, but cancer cells are missing this enzyme. Therefore, the high dose IV Vitamin C is toxic to cancer cells; this holds true for a variety of cancers.

Another key contributing factor in cancer is inflammation. In a 2016 study, IV Vitamin C was found to significantly reduce levels of various cytokines and other inflammatory markers, as well as inhibit angiogenesis (growth of new blood vessels) to the area.

Now understand, IV Vitamin C is not a cure all for cancer. But it makes most patients feel better, is far safer than conventional methods, helps maintain a stronger immune system, and is therefore, now being used as an additional treatment at many recognized cancer centers around the country.

Whether you or a family member have been diagnosed with cancer or it simply runs in your family, why not come in for a free consultation to learn more about the benefits of IV Vitamin C. Give us a call at 806-355-8263 or book online.
