Here is my story. I have always been big, it runs in the family. I have a
large frame and can carry a lot of weight. I tried to lose weight on my own
with all kinds of diets, Weight Watchers, Atkins, South Beach, high carb,
low carb, all vegetable, and so on. In 07, my brother had a heart attack. I
was a bigger man than him, and I didn’t care to suffer the same fate. My
grandmother wanted me to see a doctor, so I found The Doctors Clinic.
During the last 30 years, I have tried more diet programs than I can remember. I even went to doctors who used questionable injections and pills. Nothing I tried worked long term. I just never "got it". I began my most recent weight loss quest at 59 years old and 240 pounds.
At my beginning weight, I felt unhealthy and 20 years older than I really was. My only exercise was some occasional gardening; otherwise I would get out of breath. I was relying on an oxygen concentrator at night and 6 prescriptions every day.
